We have just celebrated Memorial Day. And that means many of our wonderful soldiers that serve us, are beginning to move again. Many of our framed pieces become farewell gifts. With that in mind, we decided to talk about the framing of military art and memorabilia. In the last 35 years, we have lost count of the hundreds of framing pieces we have done for our military. Besides the obvious things like art prints, coins, certificats, medals, pictures, photos and combinations thereof, we have done some very unusual objects: knives, field radio, sabers, berets, uniform jacket. But probably the most unusual is just “sort of” military. We once framed a full sized buffalo skin with a painted portrait of Chief Sitting Bull on it. Each and every piece you bring to us has a story. And we must admit, listening to and hearing your stories is what makes this business so great and brought us many customers over the years who have become our friends as well. Bring us your challenge and we’ll frame it in a special way designed just for you. With us, every framing brings the potential of another story and another friend.
Besides framing flags, others ways to properly display them can be found at www.ushistory.org
